Te Whare Ra, Pinot Gris 2022

Meaning "The House in the Sun" in Maori, Te Whare Ra is a family run winery on New Zealand's South Island. Headed up by husband-wife duo Jason & Anna Flowerday, they have been making organic wines since 2003. Their Pinot Gris 2022 is taken from a single vineyard in the Renwick appellation of Marlborough. An aromatic nose of pear, honeysuckle, red apple and white blossom follow onto a more savoury-fruity palate balanced by a fine, supple texture, dry finish and lingering minerality. A great wine to pair with fresh seafood or mild cheeses.
